A story based on real events that happened in Zimnicea, Romania, on March, 4, 1977, the day of the great earthquake. Everybody knows that 80% of the city was destroyed on that day, and 40 years later, they learn by whom.

Alina returns to Romania from Germany, hoping to bring Voichita—the only person in the world she loves and was loved by—back with her. But Voichita has found God, and God is the hardest lover of all to best.

Movie based on Ion Creangă story, which in its turn is based on slavic lore.
