It is 1853 and in Eastern Australia two men have toiled, driven by the belief that once they strike gold their struggles will be behind them. However they're about to discover that sharing the rare metal will be the hardest test of all.

A debt-ridden night club owner has to take on Italian and Asian mobsters, corrupt police, and an angry pimp that he threw out of the club to try to keep his club in business.

Troubled writer, Vincent, escapes to an isolated retreat, determined to complete his first novel. However, his solitude is short lived as a dark force suddenly encroaches and Vincent becomes immersed in a violent and cathartic awakening.

When on duty police officer James Hale, comes across the local dogcatcher William Page wandering the streets disorientated and mute, he brings him back to the station for assistance. However the situation soon disintegrates into hell on earth.

A group of schoolboys engage in tomfoolery, but it’s not long before playful behaviour turns primal.
