A talented songwriter of sambas is forced to face the social injustices of the city around him.

While making a movie in Rio de Janeiro, the singer Roberto Carlos is kidnapped by an international gang that wants to make money with his songs in a computer, together with Pierre (José Lewgoy) , the villain of the movie, and sent to New York.

Wanted by the police, a university professor flees to a hotel in the interior and causes changes in the lives of the owner of the establishment and his wife.
